Future or dream

Can anyone point out the difference between future and dream. In my view it is same and having no difference. Future can be viewed in terms of dreams and the things which one have desire to achieve it. Dreams are the steps to create future. Without dreams you cannot see or create your own future. So, if u need to see your future at present and the only thing you have to do is, start dreaming about everything then you can able to create or see your own future.
