I recently came across an article that read actress Lisa Ray has been diagnosed with Myeloma.Myeloma is a cancer of the plasma cell.The plasma cells constitute the white blood cells and produce antibodies.Pneumonia is one of the symptoms of Myeloma and usually renal failure is a consequence.Although incurable,chemotherapy and steroids are used as part of remission.
